Triathlon Training Program (TTP)
 |
Dave
Scott was triathlon's first
superstar, winning 6 Hawaii Ironmans.
After coaching both of this year's
champions he came to work with the
OTC coaching team for three days.
Here's what he said about this
year's TTP:
"Muscular strength,
especially in the glutes, is the key
ingredient missing from most
athletes' training programs.
Give me a triathlete for 2 hours and
I would do exactly what the OTC is
doing: a harder hour-long ride plus
a solid hour on strength and
flexibility. Adding the short
transition run in the spring plus
all the other extras makes the TTP
an excellent program." |
Frequently Asked
Questions:
- All classes take place at our studio.
- The TTP is a dryland-only program and does
not include swimming. Our swim program
is separate.
- The TTP includes one 2-hr coached
workout each week. You may drop-in to
additional ones if there is a bike free.
- Rides are indoors on spin bikes.
Runs are variable paces. MSF =
muscular strength and flexibility
