Group Swims

All outdoor OTC workouts are member-led.  All participants accept full responsibility for their own actions and safety.

Open Water Swim

  • Know your swim pace per 100m so groups can be formed that will swim together.
  • As in any group workout, some athletes might have to sacrifice a little pace in order to enjoy the benefits of the group environment.
  • Wetsuits are recommended.
  • Buoyancy devices such as this one are highly recommended.
  • If required, please share transportation to minimize vehicle use.
Meeting Times:
  • For city swims - 9am at the beach.
  • For Meech - 7:15am at the beach.
